Thank you for your inquiry. We have pups that are available now, and we have some small ones that will be available later in the next couple of months. Our prices range from $700-1200, generally.
We sometimes have one year old pups that start at $400 for males and $600 for females. They are nearly perfect pups. They have had all necessary shots, and wormings and they are well on their way to being housetrained.
We sometimes have older dogs available, dogs that are 2 plus years of age. Sometimes these are dogs that have been returned to us due to a death, divorce, or change in the lives of their owners. They are available for $400 and up for males, and $600 and up for females. If interested, please fill out our application and indicate that you would like an older dog.
Our retired dogs are available for $200-300 [used to spay-neuter] and up, and they are always spay/neutered prior to placement. We like to place these with older or retired couples. Please see our page on Older Free Dogs. Retired dogs have special considerations in adaptation to your home. Older dogs are less expensive. Older havanese usually fit into new homes rather well, but they should get extra love and attention to assure a speedy readjustment period.
All pups are sold on spay-neuter agreements. Please do not ask us for breeding rights for any reason, as it will not happen. We do not want our dogs in the hands of any other breeders. Period.
We guarantee health at time of placement, and we will replace the pup if he develops a life-altering verifiable genetic problem within the first year of life. We have a spay-neuter contract that is done at the time of sale.
We produce three colors:
1. White
2. White with Black Spots- White Partis-usually 2-3 black spots with only an occasional pup with heavy black markings
3. Cream with Blonde- color of evaporated milk with palest blonde ears
4. We occasionally have a Sable Parti.
We presently have all three of our regular colors, above. We will try to keep this website updated with pics of available pups.
Pups can be reserved prior to the time they are ready to go. Deposits are usually $500 for young pups. When pups are reserved the price of the pup is locked in from future change, and the pup is taken off the available list. If the purchaser is not happy with the pup at time of receipt of pup, an alternate pup can be chosen. Pups are usually not released until after 12 weeks of age and frequently not until 14 + weeks of age, particularly in winter, with small pups.
Smaller pups are not always shipped at 12 weeks of age. We only ship when we feel the weather is appropriate. We prefer Continental Airlines. We have been doing this a long time and we know that we have had a far better experience with Continental Airlines. Flights cannot be arranged weeks in advance as many things can happen to alter dates that are set too far in advance. We sometimes have to change the flight date at the last minute, due to a need with the pup, weather, flight delays, flight back-ups, rerouting of planes, traffic, etc. With this in mind, please remember, we make tentative scheduling for flights no more than one week in advance of the flight. We do not ship on commuter aricraft, or small aircraft. We come from an aeronautical family, and we know what we are doing with flights, scheduling, and puppy prep for a flight. Shipping is not dangerous for the pup, but it is very difficult for us to ship. It is a two day process and very time consuming. We lose money and time on shipping, but we will ship to select destinations for special families. All pups travel in a transport/carry case. They have a flight certificate, vet health exam, and we cover airfare, and transport to the airport. We will not negotiate our choice of flights, charge for shipping, or airlines. We can ship to select destinations for $350.
Pup Prices are subject to change, if we see a change in the quality of the pup, or if the pup is proven, after a certain age, to be a higher quality.
A pup's price does not change after a deposit is placed. Placements are based upon application.
