When you buy a dog from us we are providing the best quality dog we can. We only breed healthy adults who meet our standard in appearance and health.
Pricing of Young Pups and "The Idealized Beloved Havanese Look"
When pups are very small we start out with one price that might be called an average price, such as $700-$800. If you purchase the pup at that point, that is your price. As the pups mature and develop their own special look, we ascertain if they are at our normal standard of appearance, or if they have a cute look, but fall a little short of our desired goal,or idealized plan.
The pups that seem to typify our goal will be around $1,000. This is somewhat less than many you have seen elsewhere, and it is somewhat more than the backyard breeders and cross-breeders who sell breed mixes, that you may have also seen.
"The Idealized Beloved Havanese Look"is a significant achievement, and cannot be seen in the majority of haphazard breedings from new breeders who have a couple of dogs.
We assure you that breed quality is our utmost goal. We carefully select our best offspring to be parents. We have been around the breed for decades so we have the ability to judge quality and select only those that exemplify the breed.
The following is information on the way we price our dogs:
1. Our "Idealized Beloved Pups" are $1000.
2. Those cute little Havanese who are less perfect are $700-800.
3. Our older pups are often available for $400-800. Some of them are quite the "Idealized Beloved Look", but for one reason or another, we decided not to keep them. Older pups cost less.
4. Very Young pups little pups and newborns prior to weaning, are priced at $700-800 until we assess their quality. Early purchase is $200-$300 less than the purchase of a pup that has already been evaluated to exemplify "The Idealized Beloved Havanese Look".
We assure you that we use our experience with this breed to provide you with the highest quality dog we can, one that typifies what the Havanese breed should look like, and one that has the sweetest temperament of all breeds. We are very careful in selecting dogs for breeding. We will not breed dogs that do not typify our idealized look.
We are one of the oldest Havanese breeders and after decades of experienced devotion to this breed we feel we have developed our own special Beloved Look. It differs substantially from the average Havanese out there. Look at the faces of our $1000 pups and see what we mean by our "Idealized Beloved Havanese Look".
Our gift to you is that we have decades of history with this breed, and since we have our own dogs, and never use other breeders dogs, we are able to provide an unusually Beautiful dog that has a Very Pretty Face.
All pups sold are sold with a contract that assures spay/neuter at 6 months of age, and we will replace the pup if there is a substantial genetic health issue in the first year of life.
